Assume Mrs James Millar, wife of the James Millar, millworker and tenant of a house and garden at ElmRow, Selkirk. Otherwise unidentified.
John Dun Boylan (1850-1924), civil engineer, of Shawpark, Selkirk, an acquaintance of Dr Muir who was present when Boylan had a heart attack on 11 March 1923.
Agnes Amelia ‘Nancy’ Roberts née Muir (1878-1948), Dr Muir’s second daughter.
Andrina Henderson ‘Barbara’ Roberts, later Twhigg (1902-1996), Nancy’s eldest daughter thus Dr Muir’s eldest grandchild.
Assume Beatrice Annie Harrison née de Fraine, wife of John Harrison (1886-), tweed manufacturer.
Conceivably Gladys Florence Harper née Gilroy (1892-), wife of James Erskine Harper (1887-1953), son of Ebenezer Erskine Harper, sheriff substitute, and Agnes Harper née Watson. Dr Muir’s first meeting (9 August 1914) with Gladys he described thus “… Supped at Wellwood. Was introduced to Erskine Harper’s wife a very girlish person.” They later divorced.
